Welcome New COO Lisa Musselman

I am thrilled to introduce Lisa Musselman as Peaceful Living’s new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

In her role, Lisa will oversee all programs and services provided by Peaceful Living. She is exceptionally qualified and has a vast knowledge of the residential and day program regulations. Lisa has a proven track record of success. One notable accomplishment includes the expansion of home and community habilitation services in the Lehigh Valley.

Lisa began her 29-year career in human services as a residential Direct Support Professional and Community Home Supervisor after which she served as a Program Specialist in an adult day program at Community Services Group. She managed supported employment and community based programs for 17 years at Via of the Lehigh Valley.

Lisa’s tenure as the Vice President of Programs at Easter Seals Eastern Pennsylvania included the development and oversight of camping, respite, community based, and supported employment services. In her role as the Director of Developmental Disability Services at Step By Step, Inc., she managed residential, life sharing, respite, and community based programs.

Lisa has extensive experience in management, program development, and grant writing. She holds a M.A. from Lehigh University in Political Science in addition to certification as a Certified Employment Support Professional and is the treasurer of the Lehigh Valley Supports Coalition.

The COO has oversight of the areas of responsibility previously assigned to the VP of Operations, a position that was recently eliminated from the organizational structure.

Please join me in extending a warm welcome. Lisa Musselman can be reached at 610.287.1200, ext. 2040 or lmusselman@peacefulliving.org.

Sincerely,

Leland Sapp, CEO
