Peaceful Living uses a combination of volunteers and paid staff to stay with an individual with a disability. By providing trained and knowledgeable companions, Peaceful Living ensures their safety when family members cannot be present.

Peaceful Living works with an individual and those who are closest to them, to develop a life plan and goals that will enable that individual to enjoy a richer and more independent life. Most life skills are taught in their community.

Peaceful Living provides various levels of support and training to schools, community programs and religious groups, who wish to create a more inclusive and nurturing environment for individuals with disabilities. Peaceful Living will provide in-service training, seminars or complete consultative support.
