Montgomery County, PA
 
Case Manager (CM1)
This individual will oversee the care of Peaceful Living clients that live with in the geographical area they are assigned. They will complete monthly schedules for families and staff.
 
Companion, PT (DSP1)
Part-time, and substitute positions. Peaceful Living is looking for caring and responsible individuals to work with children and adults with developmental disabilities in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, attending medical appointments, and enjoying activities in the community. All individuals served are located in Montgomery County.
 
Companion, FT (DSP2)
Peaceful Living is looking for caring and responsible individuals to work with children and adults with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, transporting to medical or recreational appointments and facilitating involvement in the individual’s community. All individuals served live with in Montgomery county.
 
24 hour respite provider (DSP3)
Peaceful Living is looking for caring and responsible individuals to provide care for children and adults with developmental disabilities when thier family memebers are not able to do so. Care can be provided in their homes or in the home of staff. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, transporting to medical or recreational appointments and facilitating involvement in the individual’s community.
 
Life Sharing Partner (LFP1)
The primary function is the provision of an empathetic and understanding attitude when providing care to the individuals served by Peaceful Living.
 
Residential Director (RSC01)
This is a very responsible position involving the intake, training, and care of adults with intellectual disabilities into residential and/or group home settings for Peaceful Living. Activities associated with the job include coordinating all referrals and placement, tracking and compiling reports pertaining to capacity, services provided, etc. and maintaining an Incident Report database. Additional activities include serving as a liaison between state officials and residential facilities, arranging interviews with referrals, staff and service providers prior to placement, maintaining contracts and subcontracts. Job responsibilities require considerable knowledge of ICF/MR regulations governing the intake and placement of individuals, experience working with computerized databases, dedicated attention to detail and strong organizational, interpersonal and decision making skills. Job performance is evaluated by the Executive Director of Peaceful Living through review of the timeliness and effectiveness of intake and placement activities, knowledge of ICF/MR rules and regulations, timeliness and thoroughness of submitted reports and documentation, and organizational, interpersonal and decision making skills.
