    Assistant Program Specialist,

    The primary function of the Assistant Program Specialist (APS) position is to provide direct care for Creative Gifts individuals while assisting the Program Specialist with the implementation of individual service plans.  The APS reports to the Site Director, works closely with the Program Specialist to maintain communication and documentation regarding the care received with individuals served, families and the Community Based Mentors assigned to the site and interacts professionally and in a timely manner with parents, providers and community members. This position will require a minimum of 20 hours per week of Program Specialist duties and approximately 20 hours a week of Community Based Mentor duties. If more time needs to be allocated to the Program Specialist duties, the APS is required to be flexible enough to meet the need.

    Peaceful Living is seeking a qualified applicant with at least 3 years of accounting experience to assist the Accounting Manager by providing part-time, day-to-day support to the Finance department at our main office located in Harleysville, PA.

    The Administrative Services Intern position is an unpaid, learning opportunity. This individual will learn how to support the day to day operations within a non-profit organization and gain valuable real world professional experience to prepare them for a professional career.

    Committed to “creating belonging for persons with disabilities within a faith community,” Peaceful Living began in 2000 and has grown to an organization with annual revenue of $7,000,000 and daily serving 160 people. The new CEO must be visionary and have the skills to continue to grow the organization and work well with a management team. The right person will be a strategic thinker with skills in establishing financial sustainability. Candidates must be excited by Peaceful Living’s mission and principles and be connected with or feel strong affinity for the faith values of the Anabaptist community, and be part of a faith community themselves. Other requirements include a Master’s degree in a related field, and a minimum of 10 effective years of experience in leadership, with at least 5 years of experience in a key leadership role of an organization, preferably not-for-profit and serving people with developmental disabilities.     Peaceful Living is looking for caring and responsible individuals to work with adults with developmental disabilities in their homes.

    Pool Person, P.T.

    The Pool Person position has been created to act as supplemental staffing for the benefit of each site.  A Pool Person will receive $13.00 an hour for all hours worked.  The following will explain the expectations and policies that a Pool Person must adhere to in order to obtain and maintain employment:

    The Creative Gifts Site Director provides leadership to a Creative Gifts community day program site and maintains fidelity to the Peaceful Living Belonging Model of care for adults with intellectual disabilities.

    Community Based Mentor,

    To work in a 1:3 or 1:1 ratio with individuals with intellectual disabilities; assisting them to participate in Creative Gifts community-based activities and providing holistic care in-line with Peaceful Living’s mission to create belonging for all individuals served.

    Salary: $11.00 / Hour

    Residential Companion,

    Residential Companions provide holistic care to the individuals served by Peaceful Living in a residential setting.  They ensure that the residents are safe, comfortable, and cared for to the highest degree of quality.
