    Job Summary

    Peaceful Living is looking for caring and responsible individuals to provide care for children and adults with developmental disabilities when thier family memebers are not able to do so. Care can be provided in their homes or in the home of staff.

    Job Details

    This position is part of Peaceful Living’s Community Based Services.  This department is responsible for providing habilitation and respite services in individuals’ homes.  Employees will be working with individuals on personal goals throughout the shift.  Staff may be asked to assist in activities of daily living such as bathing, changing and other personal hygiene goals.  Staff will also be asked to participate in activities out in the community with the individuals they work with, transporting them in their own car.

    Job Requirements

    Work experience in the human services field is needed. Staff must have a valid drivers license and thier own transportation. For staff that wishes to use thier own home for respite must be willing for Peaceful Living to asses thier home and for the families of the individual to visit prior to respite being provided.

    Salary: $11.43 / Hour
    Shift: Full 24 Hour Periods
