    Job Summary

    Residential Companions provide holistic care to the individuals served by Peaceful Living in a residential setting.  They ensure that the residents are safe, comfortable, and cared for to the highest degree of quality.

    Job Details

    Residential companions will be expected to supervise and assist individuals with performing basic daily living skills and developing physical, mental, and spiritual health. Companions will assist with the implementation of life plans that improve the social-skills, self-care skills, and community integration of the individuals Peaceful Living serves.

    Currently Open Positions Include:

    • Awake - Every other Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 3p – 11p, Saturday from 9a – 11p
    • Asleep – Every other Wednesday, Thursday through Saturday from 11p – 9a
    • Part Time Weekends – Saturday and Sunday
    Job Requirements

    Basic Requirements:

    1. High School Diploma/GED
    2. Valid driver’s license
    3. Ability to lift 50-100 lbs.
    4. At least two years direct care experience

    Required Trainings:

    • In-house training
    • First Aid and CPR Certification within the 90 day probationary period
    • Medication Administration Part 1 and 2 within the 90 day probationary period
    • A total of 24 hours of training annually
    • Site specific training for each assigned site
    • Specific trainings deemed necessary by supervisor

    Salary: $9 / Hour (Asleep), $11 / Hour (Awake)
    Shift: Beginning of the Week Asleep, End of the Week Awake (3p – 11p), and Part-Time Weekend Shift Available
