The Button Book, Part 1

Creative Gifts over the last year has been a flurry of activity. We have grown from a program for 3 people to nearly 20. Through this period of growth we have somehow managed to maintain a very comfortable and loving atmosphere. I feel that this is due to the wonderful people that attend our program and the diligence of the Community Based Mentors who work directly with the individuals that we support. The question we need to ask is not, “Is this person gifted?”, but rather, “How is this person gifted.” That is the heart of what we are at Creative Gifts. We strive to look at each person that comes to our center, both staff and individuals, through the eyes of God, believing that each person has a beautiful and invaluable gift to offer to the world.
