Residential Services

Peaceful Living is creating belonging for people with developmental disabilities within a faith community by providing residential care to individuals in two homes. Individuals in these homes are provided 24 hour care by skilled, trained and compassionate residential companions. Residential companions in both homes provide individuals holistic care and help the individuals complete daily living skills, access the community for personal and recreational purposes and provide companionship and mentoring. The homes also participate in a Community Supported Agriculture membership at a local farm to provide fresh ingredients for the meals that the companions and individuals cook and serve daily.
About Our Homes
Jubilee House: Six individuals live at our beautiful new Jubilee house, an Intermediate Care Facility. These residents enjoy spending time in the sun room eating and looking at pictures, watching TV and playing games in the spacious living room, and taking walks on the scenic path right outside.
Gehman House: Four individuals enjoy residing in our Gehman house, a Community Living Arrangement. Gardening, movies, cooking, music and games, and going out into the community take up these residents’ time, along with plenty of time to kick back and relax with their friends.
